We are very happy to be back in the Roundhay Radio studio for ROUNDHAY RADIO'S live week of broadcasting. This year, our theme is #CULTURE! We are working in-line with Leeds City of Culture 2023, which is a celebration arts in the city. Roundhay is proud to have a long tradition of supporting the cultural arts, in and out of the classroom. Here at Roudhay Radio, we aim to celebrate our passion for creativity throughout radio week and through to the end of 2023.

Roundhay Radio is proud to have been nominated by the 'Young Audio Awards', in the Secondary Station of the Year category for 2022.
Roundhay School is a vibrant and highly successful comprehensive school that reflects the truly cosmopolitan nature of Leeds.
This multi-dimensional ethos is something that we aim to take into all aspects of school life, and into the wider community. To that end, Roundhay Radio, is one of the year's premier projects in displaying the talent, organisation, and skill of our students.
This is a station that reaches its arms out from the school, to the centre of the community. With links to local primary schools, and media outlets based in West Yorkshire, we aim to encourage our students to produce quality content that says something about who they are and what they want to achieve.

All radio shows are broadcast and maintained from our secondary campus by students with staff support. All support work is also run by the students. Promotion, advertising, design and photography is done by the Roundhay School Media Department.
